FATMA ZIDAN GROUP

The singer Fatma Zidan received the Danish Music Awards award for "Best World Track 2010 ". She is currently becoming one of the new established singers in the Arab world.

Her superb phrasing and virtuosic voice, makes it always a treat to hear her perform on stage. Fatma Zidan Group is an ensemble composed of some of the most exciting musicians on the homely world scene.

Today she is recognized as one of the best in her field. The singing of Fatma Zidan has deep roots in the Egyptian tradition (around Oum Khalthoum). Her own personal touch is influenced by the roots, as she herself is a part of. Fatma himself was born in Saudi Arabia, and therefore know the most Arabic dialects. Therefore she has also worked extensively in the Gulf - from Yemen to Dubai and Qatar.

Fatma Zidan Group has been touring all over Denmark, as well as in Greece and Canada.
